The mission of MECK-MORONI is to promote sustainable and accessible financial services to all segments of the population, especially women and youth.
 

This involves receiving their savings and ensuring their safekeeping to make it grow; granting them credit under the best conditions; promoting solidarity and cooperation among members; and ensuring the promotion of economic, social, and cooperative education among its members.
 

With more than 100,000 accounts opened in the 14 basic Meck branches of the network, savings of over 24.7 billion, and total loan balances of over 20.8 billion Comorian francs in 2017, the Union of Mecks is the leading financial institution in terms of loan balances and savings collection in the Union of the Comoros.

This performance is largely due to the good results of MECK-MORONI.
Members of MECK-MORONI represent 44% of the total number of network members, and savings represent 44.5% of the balances.
